It would be really helpful if there was a way to only include Active projects on the report. Maybe that is an option that can be added to the Dialog Box that comes up? Ideally, we would run the report and print the report for reconciliation and right now we have to physically uncheck each project with a status of inactive so that they don't show up on the report.
This will get very difficult as the project list grows, as it's unrealistic to remember which projects are active and which are inactive. One idea would be to include the project status in the dialog box that comes up when you select the projects you want to include in the report, so you can easily see what is active and inactive.
PROCESS: Once a Project is Completed and sent to FAS, we will be Inactivating the Project in FA Planning.
PROPOSED RESOLUTION: A check box that would allow the ability to select Active Projects.
CURRENT WORKAROUND: run the report, then export to Excel. However, this required some spreadsheet manipulation as the reports do not export in a great format.
I am excited to inform you this request is addressed in the next release, version 2025.1, scheduled for mid-January 2025. The Consolidated Setup dialog will have a checkbox to 'Show Active Projects only' allowing quickly selection of only active projects.
