Add an Asset Group by importing System Numbers

After running a state depreciation book, we realized we needed to make some changes to quite a few assets. There isn't one specific identifier for these assets, but we have the system numbers. Would it be possible to add an import option (say by system ID) to the group manager?

    If I understand the original request correctly, the need is to add criteria to create a group with many individual system numbers.

    For example, in Create a Group, add the following field criteria selections;
    Look In: "System Number"
    Select an Operator: "Contains"
    Find What: "00001, 00007, 00009" etc for hundreds of numbers - this is where the import would be needed, instead of entering one by one.

    I face a similar situation, needing to create groups with many different serial numbers of assets. Can we import a quantity of serial numbers at once (from excel) into the "Find What" field in order to create a group instead of entering one by one?

    I would suggest importing by and/or 'Asset ID' field. Not all customers third party integrations house the FAS 'System Number'. However, typically they do include the 'Asset ID' field.
